The first proper Honey Buzzard day

After several drizzly days, the clouds parted and streams of Honey Buzzards carried the season to its first substantial migration day.

After a few drizzly days on station, the clouds finally parted and streams of Honey Buzzards began to flow through the bottleneck! Today’s raptor total was 903 across our two stations, plus another 27 storks.

With a sunny forecast and the peak dates for Honey Buzzard migration ahead, who knows how far our numbers will soar in the coming weeks? We look forward to keeping you updated!
